The world of push marketing can be daunting for all levels of companies, from small to large.  There are so many variables to consider that often people don't do anything.

  1. Fundraisers are Back on Top - This year non-profits got to be back in the number one position. Although it was only 10 of the 50, they are in the number one spot.
  2. Retailers Bet on Print - This year the number of retailers has jumped from six to nine. And at the same time catalogs fell from grace as the largest category going from 11 to five.
  3. There are 16 new mailers in this year's list - "Who's mailing what?" continues to be a very necessary inquiry.
  4. Travel Companies Explore Your Mailbox - Last year Viking River Cruises was among the top 50 mailers. This year there are two more: Cunard and Grand Circle.
  5. We Hear an Election Coming - The Republican National Committee has cracked the top 50. and Planned Parenthood has going from 39 to 29.
