An Experiment in Social Networking and "Folksonomies"
(FIRST INSTALLMENT) - Brookline - My IMD290 Class and I have started an in-class (course) experiment (using pbwiki) in an attempt to create a taggable definition of the word "folksonomy."
This is a work-in-process and it not only gives students the ability to work collaboratively, but also demonstrates the definition of "folksonomy" as they actually create the wiki. After having started the project we registered the wiki at Technorati, and we are waiting to see the whole process through by the end of the semester.
